Hard to be a Rock'n'Roller / Detroit Metal City
Hard to be a Rock'n'Roller / Detroit Metal City
There are many Wig Wam songs that would fit to this wonderful movie, but this one definitely fits the best. The band Wig Wam and the movie Detroit Metal City have something more in common: Both are highly underappreciated and not known by enough people outside their home countries (Norway and Japan). So guys: Listen to Wig Wam, watch Detroit Metal City, enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it, and have a Happy Christmas! Song: "Hard to be a Rock'n'Roller" by Wig Wam Movie: "Detroit Metal City", Bonzai Media Corporation, based on the manga by Kiminori Wakasugi Go to DMC! YOU SAY HEY, IT'S HARD TO BE A ROCK'N'ROLLER TRY BEING A ROCK'N'ROLL GOD IN A WORLD OF PLEASURE, JACKASS, I'LL GET YOU SOON YEAH, YEAH HEY, IT'S HARD TO BE A ROCK'N'ROLLER TRY BEING A ROCK'N'ROLL STAR WHEN THE WORLD GETS CRAZY, BABY, SO DO YOU

Animefest - Malindachan's Wig Construction panel (part 1 of 4)
Animefest - Malindachan's Wig Construction panel (part 1 of 4)
From Animefest 2011 in Dallas, TX. I censored my email so I wouldn't get spam; I much prefer people contact me with cosplay questions through Deviantart notes anyway. I was pretty nervous lol; this is the first panel I've hosted all by myself. There were a lot of ideas and things I wish I could have thrown in but wasn't thinking about them at the time. A dear friend of mine was going to do some panels at the con, and I volunteered to co-host his wig panel with him (it's for more advanced wig techniques, but we wanted to cover a lot of basic stuff too since the only other wig panel of the weekend was on the last day of the con). An emergency arose and he was unable to attend the convention, but I chose to keep the wig panel going even though I wasn't as experienced in certain areas of wig construction as he is. I think I did pretty well under the circumstances, and I feel the attendees got a lot out of it; some actually came up with more questions after the panel was over and wanted to see some of the wigs up close, but that wasn't filmed. Sorry if anything is hard to hear or see; I would have brought visuals or something if I had known I was going to be by myself, though I don't think the room had a projector anyway XD Much thankies to my friends that came for moral support and to help record this; It really meant a lot. The wig websites I make references to are Amphigory, Cosworx, and Arda-wigs (those are the places where I shop the most). There are also some other good ...
